Our values

The Code of 1810

Different playstyles. Shared expectations. Stronger together.

We all play Kingshot differently. Some of us log in for an hour a day, some of us are always online. Some spend, some don't. The Code is what we share anyway: how we treat each other, how we play as a team, and why we do things the way we do.

The Code is about values. The official rules live in the NAP Rules and in each alliance's game plan. If the two ever seem to disagree, the official rules win, and your R4s can help sort it out.

Principle 1

Respect Comes First

Treat others with kindness, communicate openly, and work through disagreements constructively.

What this looks like

  • No harassment, especially in DMs. A little friendly trolling in World Chat is fine, but stop right away if a leader asks.
  • Problems with another alliance go through your R4s. Don't message another alliance's leaders yourself. One clear voice keeps things calm.
  • Battle calls can be short when time is tight. Every call is meant respectfully.
  • Made a mistake that affected someone else? A quick apology goes a long way. In 1810, a first NAP slip is usually settled with just that.
Principle 2

One Kingdom, One Team

Every alliance and every player has something valuable to contribute, regardless of power or spending.

What this looks like

  • Our NAP alliances don't attack each other or each other's academies. That means no hits on cities or gatherers, and scouting counts as an attack.
  • Every alliance can reach every facility. We never surround a facility to block someone out.
  • Strong accounts are here to help the whole kingdom win, not to push others down.
  • In KvK, every alliance fights together under LAW, our State Alliance.
Principle 3

Learn & Share

We share strategies, explain the reasoning behind them, and help one another improve.

What this looks like

  • Our game plans explain the why, not just the what. If something doesn't make sense, ask. Asking first is always better than guessing.
  • Guides, calculators and tools are shared freely, not kept by a few people.
  • Sent the wrong heroes or troops? Say so in chat. No one will be upset if you call it out yourself. We all make mistakes.

Example: In Bear, only your first hero's Joiner Skill counts in a rally. Once players know that, picking the right first hero becomes easy, and every rally hits harder.

Principle 4

Shared Expectations

We follow agreed-upon strategies and guidelines so we can coordinate and perform better together.

What this looks like

  • Follow your R4's calls during events and battles. No surprise rallies or buffs unless you've been asked.
  • Stay in your own spot in the Hive and at Bear. Taking someone else's spot starts a chain of people moving.
  • Always take Sanctuaries with a rally, even a rally of one. Soloing takes rewards from everyone else.
  • Only sign up for Swordland Showdown or Tri-Alliance Clash if you're sure you can make it. An empty slot weakens the whole team.
  • Going to be away? Let an R4 know your return date.
Principle 5

Save for KvK

We manage resources strategically and save our strength for the battles that matter most.

What this looks like

  • The event cap is 3x the last reward tier in mini events. Aim to finish as close to the last tier as you can. The extra room is there for mistakes and must-have upgrades. Your leaders post the number for each event.
  • Events that don't use KvK resources (like All Out and Defeat Nearby Beasts) have no cap. Score as much as you like.
  • Hold your Truegold until KvK, and stay at TG5 until after the next KvK.
  • Hide your Governor Gear and VIP level so opponents can't size you up.

Why it matters: Many items are worth far more in KvK. For example, Forgehammers, Exclusive Widgets and Mithril earn 2.1x more there. Saving them is how a kingdom of all spending levels competes with anyone.

Principle 6

Opportunities for Everyone

Through coordinated event spending and rotating winners, we give more players, including F2P and lower spenders, a fair chance at first place.

What this looks like

  • In capped events, one NAP alliance gets the top 5 spots each time, in this order: MFL, HOT, TUR, VAL, ONE.
  • When it's your alliance's turn, you can request a top 5 spot. Leaders pick the top 5 using a fair order, so the same people don't take first every time.
  • Everyone else stays under the cap, so the rewards spread out over time.

Good to know: This doesn't guarantee anyone first place. It means more players get a real shot at it over time.

Principle 7

Competitive, Not Toxic

We fight hard against our opponents while keeping our own kingdom cooperative and welcoming.

What this looks like

  • We play to win KvK, every time.
  • At home, we keep the drama out. Disagreements get talked through, not fought out on the map.
  • Never post combat reports in World Chat. Opponents scroll back to learn our stats.
  • During KvK week, the State Alliance gets first call on its facilities. Taking one of them is the most serious offense in 1810.
  • The castle goes to the alliance that holds it the longest, so we always hand it back to LAW.
Principle 8

Enjoy the Game

We celebrate victories, friendships, personal milestones, and the people who make 1810 special.

What this looks like

  • Cheer when a rally lands, and laugh when one doesn't.
  • Share your screenshots and big moments. They might end up in Kingdom Moments.
  • Life comes first. Need a break? Tell your R4. You can step back to an academy and return when you're ready.
  • It's a game. If it stops being fun, talk to someone. We'd rather help than lose you.

Where the official rules live

  • NAP Rules: the agreements between 1810's alliances (members only)
  • Your alliance's game plan: event details for your own alliance
  • Kingdom Hub: guides, the calendar, and your tasks (members only)

Questions? Ask any R4. We're always happy to help.
